- Derek Diehl is a rising senior at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Meteorology. He is especially interested in severe weather, winter weather, climate change, as well as the sociological impact on the public of these topics. He has been involved in several research projects, has gone storm chasing in both Tornado Alley and in the New York/New Jersey area, and has recorded over 40 green screen weather forecasts for the Rutgers WeatherWatcher club.
