NickelBlock Forecasting L.L.C. is owned and operated by Nick Lilja and a small team of scientists and meteorologists. Our website is https://nickelblock.com, and our app extends the same services to mobile users.
What we collect
Basic information you share: If you leave a comment, subscribe, or contact us, we may keep, on file, your name, email, or any details you provide.
Automatic data: Like most websites, we document IP addresses, browser types, device details, and basic analytics through a third party, so we can keep the site running smoothly.
Location data (optional): If you allow it, we may use location services to provide localized weather information including National Weather Service Watches, Warnings, and Advisories
Cookies: Small files stored by your browser that help us remember your preferences, improve the site, and reduce spam.
How we use it
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. However, the data is used to

Specifically, we use Google Analytics, Firebase and Admob services for our development, maintenance, and analytics of this site and app.
Your rights
You are in control of your data. At any time you can:
– Choose to opt out of any of our location services
– Request that we update or delete your personal information
– Unsubscribe from any emails or notifications you no longer want
– Delete the app and unbookmark our site as desired
Children’s privacy
Our services are not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and if we learn we have done so, we will delete it.
