Baseball Forecast- 6/13/25

Wet weather is the theme for baseball this weekend. Cool showers in the northeast with more of a hot and humid rain in the southeast. Overall we could be seeing some delays in games across the east coast and it won’t be the best weekend for baseball. Let’s get into the details!



New York Yankees

It’s rivalry weekend for the Yankees as they face the Boston Red Sox! Tonight starts the three-game weekend series in Boston starting at 7:10pm EDT. Temperatures will be in the low-60s during the game with partly cloudy skies. Humidity will start around 64% and increase with cloud coverage, to around 75% by the end of the game. Winds at the surface will be calm while up at 150ft they will be around 11 mph. Winds will be point infield towards the third base line. Overall a pretty nice night for some baseball!


Baseball Forecast for Friday at Fenway Park


The Yanks continue their series in Boston with a Saturday night game starting at 7:15pm EDT. Temperatures will be in the high-50s with humidity in the 80% range. It will be mostly cloudy and the field will be wet from passing showers earlier in the day. Winds at the surface will be calm and at 150ft they will be around 8 mph. These winds will be pointing towards home plate which is usually more beneficial to pitchers. However since the winds aren’t strong it’s looking to be more of a fair fight on Saturday night!

Finishing their series in Boston, the Yankees play at 1:35pm EDT on Sunday. It will be a cool afternoon with temperatures in the low-60s with humidity around 68%. It will be mostly cloudy from rain showers in the nearby area. Winds will be calm at the surface and at 150ft they will be around 9 mph pointing towards home plate. With low pressure over the area from the rain and humidity, we will see fly balls rising more due to the air being less dense. This may allow for some balls to get over the Green Monster on Saturday!

Brooklyn Cyclones

The Brooklyn Cyclones continue their series against the Asheville Tourists tonight at 6:40pm EDT. Temperatures will start in the upper-60s but cool to the low-60s. Humidity will be increasing throughout the game from 75% at the start to 97% by the final innings. Cloud coverage will start low in the first few innings but increase to cloudy skies in the final innings. This is due to a rain shower coming into the area. These showers shouldn’t produce large amounts of rain and will hopefully arrive after the game finishes but it is something to definitely lookout for. Winds will be around 9 mph at the surface and stronger at 150ft of about 15 mph. These winds will be pointing towards home plate. The strong winds will make it more difficult for hitters to get their fly balls far into the outfield. If you plan on attending this game just be prepared for late inning rain showers!

Baseball Forecast for Friday at Maimonides Park


The Cyclone’s home game against the Tourists starts at 6:00pm EDT on Saturday. We are looking at rain showers in the area during the first few innings of the game and plenty of rain before game time which might affect the start time. However, even if the rain is light enough by gamete to start, the field will be very wet which well affect players. It will also make the seating wet for fans which is something to lookout for. It will be cloudy for the entire game and even after the game which might affect the planned post-game fireworks show. Temperatures will be in the high-60s with humidity in the high 70% range. Winds at the surface will be around 7 mph. At 150ft they will start around 10 mph and increase to around 15 mph by the end of the game. These winds will be pointing towards home plate. Overall, please be aware of the damp conditions which might affect the start of this game!

Sunday’s game at 2:00pm EDT closes out the home series against the Tourists. At the scheduled game time, there are scattered showers just to the south of the ballpark. These showers may shift towards our area so please watch out for those and check the local weather as we get closer to game time. Temperatures will be in the mid-60s with humidity around 74%. It will be cloudy will winds at the surface around 6 mph. Up at 150ft winds will be pointing towards home plate at around 11 mph. Like Saturday be on the watch for scattered showers, which shouldn’t be heavy but will affect planning for this game.

Hudson Valley Renegades

The Renegades continue their home series against the Greenville Drive at 7:05pm EDT tonight. Temperatures will start around 76 degrees and cool to around 70 degrees by the end of the game. Humidity will be around 60% with calm winds at the surface. At 150ft winds will be around 9 mph pointing towards the third base line. Cloud coverage will increase dramatically halfway through the game and it will be completely cloudy for the fireworks show scheduled for the end of the game. We might see some rain showers come in the last few inns and after the game so be mindful especially when heading home after this game.

Baseball Forecast for Friday at Heritage Financial Field


Saturday continues the home series against the Drive at 5:05pm EDT. There will be rain showers leading up to this game but it should be clear by game time. What might delay the game is if the field needs to dry out a bit and fixed. It will be cloudy out but there should be no rain after batting practice. Temperatures will be in the low-70s with humidity in the 70% range. Winds will be calm at the surface and at 150ft they will be around 7 mph. These winds will be coming from the south east and pointing towards the third base line. If you plan on attending this just be aware of the rain before the start of the game and watch out for any delays.

Baseball Forecast for Saturday at Heritage Financial Field


The Renegades close out their series against the Drive on Sunday at 2:05pm EDT. There will be some showers nearby during the game time but there should not be any rain during the game. However the field will lily still be moist from Saturday’s rain and the 70% humidity in the air. It will be cloudy during the game with temperatures at 73 degrees. Winds will be light at the surface and at 150ft they will be around 6 mph pointing towards the left field foul line. The main concern for this game will be the damp playing conditions which will make the ball wet and slippery.

Rocket City Trash Pandas

The Trash Pandas play the Pensacola Blue Wahoos tonight at home at 6:35pm CDT. There is a good chance for rain showers during the game and the field will be wet from prior showers. This could cause a rain delay or even a postponement if the rain becomes too heavy. There are planned evening fireworks but those are likely to be canceled or postponed. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s with humidity around 57%. It will be early cloudy at the start of the game and cloud coverage will increase throughout the game. Winds at the surface will be calm and at 150ft they will be around 13 mph. These winds will be pointing towards the left field foul line. The main thing to bee on the lookout for is rain during the game, it shouldn’t be super heavy but it may cause a rain delay.

At 6:35pm CDT on Saturday the Trash Pandas continue their series against the Blue Wahoos. Like Friday night, there are a lot of rain showers in the area. These showers will be in our area and to the north which might affect the game. Temperatures will be 78 degrees with humidity in the 80% range. Cloud coverage will be highest in the first few innings but rain is expected throughout the game. Winds at the surface will be around 2 mph and 9 mph at 150ft pointing towards the left field foul line. There are scheduled fireworks but those may be postponed due to the damp conditions. Be on the lookout for showers and possible delays if you plan on attending this game.

Closing out the Trash Pandas series against the Blue Wahoos starts at 2:35pm CDT on Sunday. Keeping on the them of a wet weekend, there are scattered showers in the area for Sunday’s game. Temperatures will be around 79 degrees with cloudy skies and humidity at around 78%. Winds will be around 2 mph at the surface and 12 mph at 150ft. These winds will repointing towards right field. Be aware of potential rain delays on Sunday due to the showers in the area and just be prepared for the wet weather all weekend here!
