The rest of the week will feature pleasant and dry weather, but changes are on the horizon.
A warm front lifting north will usher in a hotter, more humid airmass by the weekend, bringing increasing chances for rain and storms into next week. With no significant pattern shift expected, daily afternoon storms will be possible. Several days -especially Sunday through Tuesday- hold potential for severe weather as a series of disturbances move through.

While instability looks most favorable on Sunday, the best wind shear and atmospheric forcing appear to arrive Monday into Tuesday, making Monday and Tuesday the most likely day for organized severe storms, primarily with hail and wind.
That said, at this point there isn’t enough data to support any real “certainty” that severe weather will happen.
Things should start to ease back on Wednesday of next week.
