Another soggy, chilly, day today: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 11/14/23

We have another shot for some rain today. As a little surface low slides by in the Gulf, it will spray the area with some light rain, drizzle and mist as we move through the next 36 hours.

Rainfall totals during the next 36 to 48 hours aren’t looking quite as impressive as they did on yesterday’s model data. That said, we are still looking at about 1″ to 2″ of rain possible for many spots.

But the heaviest rain looks to stay offshore.

The area of low pressure will actually be with us through about Friday – in one way or another – helping to keep the area slightly cooler and should help to keep some rain in the forecast here and there on Wednesday and Thursday. Highs today, tomorrow and Thursday should be around 60F to 65F.

By Friday, though, things start to dry out and temperatures start to rebound back to about 70 degrees. Then this weekend we rebound back into the 70s with more sunshine.

The we get another shot for some storms in here next Monday/Tuesday as the next system rolls through.
