The Notorious July Is In Full Effect

This one is for the nine-five, degrees that is. The story at hand is that July is here, it’s almost Independence Day, and the southern ridge is relentless. If you’re gonna celebrate your ‘Murica day with a cold one and barbecue, I’d suggest being indoors or keeping a gallon of water on you at all times. Tomorrow, however, we have a slight chance of rain with a system moving out of the Gulf of Mexico and moving northwest into the Pinebelt.

For Wednesday, we’ll start off the morning with a low of 74 and partly cloudy skies throughout the day. The rain will come in the mid-afternoon but can be hit or miss depending on the direction it takes or if it dries out by the time it comes to us. High of 91 and winds West at 5 mph.

For our Independence Day, long story short it’s going to be hot. We’ll have a few clouds in the sky but there’s not a high chance of an afternoon shower in the afternoon since we are strongly ridged over. High of 94, low of 72 and winds West at 5 mph.

Now over to Amber for the rest of your week!

Tuesday of next week looks HOT. Any outdoor plans you have please make sure you have plenty of water to drink and take breaks during the day.

Friday – As you recover from yesterdays fun highs around 94 degrees just a few clouds through the day and low rain chances around 10 percent for the day so a chance of a shower finding you is very low. Winds will be out of the north around 5 mph and the overnight low around 74 degrees.

The Weekend – Saturday a high of 95 degrees and 10 percent chance of rain once again with few clouds through the day, overnight low around 73. Sunday high temperature around 94 degrees low rain chances once again and lows again in the mid 70’s around 74 degrees.

Monday – That is when the rain chances go up slightly along with the temperatures 95 for a high with a 30 percent chance of rain. Skies will be partly cloudy with overnight lows in the middle 70’s once again.

Tuesday – Rain chances stay at 30 percent for the day while high temperatures stay around 93 degrees it will be cloudy through the day moving into the overnight hours the low will be around 75 degrees.
