A Beautiful Weekend to Be Outside! …That’s it, that’s the Forecast – Weekend Outlook 4/13/24

As the title states, we’ll have some great weather for the next few days! A strong high pressure system will preside over us for a few days keeping conditions mostly sunny and warm. Over the next 24 hours, we’ll see winds shift and turn southerly as we are in the back side of the anti-cyclone. With this, some fog will be possible overnight into Sunday. While conditions won’t be very humid, it’ll contribute to our above-average temperatures. Overall, this weekend is great for anything outdoors. I’ll probably be at the skate park this afternoon (just a little side note, haha).

Sunday will also have some gusty southerly winds with the gradient between the high and low pressure getting a bit tighter around Mississippi/Louisiana, so you may want to keep some tents or tables tied down if you’re out camping or at the park. By Monday, we may see some mid-level clouds start to form as another low pressure begins to form over the northern Great Plains, however this storm system doesn’t look to arrive until late Tuesday into Wednesday. I’ll have the weekly forecast up tomorrow.

Have a great weekend!
