Cooler and drier to close out 2023: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 12/26/23

Things look nice and dry this week. Temperatures will be seasonably cool. Honestly, that is about all there is to report with the weather for this week.

There is some evidence for some cooler weather as we move through the new year, but then we may see a brief warm up before another shot of seasonably chilly air.



REGIONAL DAY TO DAY FORECAST

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. Cooler with highs in the lower 60s. North winds around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s. Northwest winds around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. West winds 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 30s. West winds 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, cooler with highs in the lower 50s.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear. Cold with lows in the lower 30s.

Friday: Sunny. Highs in the lower 50s.

Friday Night: Clear, cold with lows in the upper 20s.

Saturday: Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s.

Saturday Night: Clear. Lows in the mid 30s.

Sunday: Sunny. Highs around 60.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear. Lows around 40.

New Years Day: Mostly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs in the lower 60s.
