South Mississippi Forecast 6/2/21

The ‘afternoon storms every day’ pattern is now in full swing. And, actually, the showers that you may be waking up to this morning are some lingering effects of the shower activity from last night.

The storms this morning will continue to drift through and eventually clear out, before more shower activity develops this afternoon.

And then tomorrow. And the next day, and the next day, too.

In fact, as of now, Saturday may be the only ‘mostly dry’ day for South Mississippi during the next 10 days. And even that looks like a stretch.

So buckle up, it looks like your typical Summertime Pattern is here to stay for a few days.

Chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Cloudy. Highs in the mid 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. The chance of rain 80-percent.

Mostly cloudy with chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 60s. South winds around 5 mph. The chance of rain 30-percent.

Thursday
Partly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly cloudy with a chance for storms. Highs in the mid 80s. Southwest winds around 5 mph. The chance of rain 60-percent.

  1. Yeah, we got 5 to 6 straight days of pretty weather! NOW, let’s see how many straight days of rain we get. I can almost assure you, it’ll be more than 5 or 6. Hope the weather in Houston is better.
