South Mississippi Forecast 6/28/21

The soggy-ish pattern continues. It looks like more afternoon showers and storms will be possible. The very humid airmass that has settled across the region has no plans to move as we head through the week and toward the holiday weekend.

That means two things: 1. the threat for storms continues and 2. if it isn’t raining, it will be miserably humid.

Oh, and we are still watching two areas in the tropics.

More on the tropics at a later point. For now, Invest 94L (the one out the farthest) is the only thing worth noting for the Gulf Coast. And it is still more than 4-7 days out from starting to think about organizing

Happy Monday!

  1. I look forward to a forecast without that dirty 4-letter word in it. And, ah, the words ‘Happy’ and ‘monday’ NEVER go together! Hope the new job, which I guess you may not call ‘new’ anymore, is still working out good.
