As the fires have raged across much of south Mississippi and Louisiana, it’s indicative of the lack of rain that we’ve received in the past month. That being said, obviously fires are terrible, but they do bring new growth later on, but please continue to support your local firefighters.
For the next few days, we can expect some on and off rain tomorrow and Friday before we dry back up. Temperatures will average in the 70s for the next several days with it reaching near 80 by Sunday. Otherwise, beautiful weather!

Today

It’s been a fairly pleasant albeit somewhat windy day today. We’ve reached a high in the low 70s with a mix of clouds and sun. Tonight, we’ll fall back into the mid to upper 50s with more clouds rolling in.

Tomorrow

On and off rain will be the story tomorrow. Rain chances will increase as we reach the late evening hours. Otherwise, it’s going to be a mostly cloudy day with winds out of the South. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s during the day and fall back into the low 60s overnight.

Friday

A line of storms will move in overnight into the morning hours on Friday. Expect a soggy morning before the clouds begin to clear out by the afternoon. It’ll be a nice beginning to the weekend with a cooler north wind in the afternoon! Temperatures will reach the mid 70s during the day and the upper 40s overnight. Rainfall totals may reach up to an inch or more.

This Weekend

This weekend will be a beautiful one! It’ll be a bit warm but a good one to be outside. Winds will be calmer as the high pressure zone moves over us for those couple of days. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s on Saturday with a low around 50. We’ll hit the upper 70s to about 80 on Sunday with a low in the mid 50s.
