A Boring, But Fairly Pleasant Early Fall Conditions to Start Off the Week

There really isn’t too much to say about the next week ahead other than “kinda hot, but not terrible.” We’ll have a mix of clouds and sun each day and low humidity.

Winds will be fairly minimal for the next few days, but we’ll see a shift from the north to the east as the surface high sets in. Unfortunately, despite the upper level low moving over the Gulf, the chance of rain over the week will be slim to none. Humidity values will be pretty low, staying around 20-30%. Some clouds will push in by Thursday, however these likely won’t produce any rain.

Overall, temperatures will stay around the low 90s in the eastern end of the Pinebelt and in the mid 90s further west towards Louisiana. Low temperatures will be pretty nice, reaching the low 60s each morning.

Of course, with the dry conditions continuing and the drought worsening, burn bans are still present across the board. Please heed the burn bans with brush and other fuel ready to burn very easily.
