Chilly morning, calm few days: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 1/4/22

Qute the chilly start this morning for many folks across the region with temperatures hovering around 25 to 30 degrees. We will climb back into the 50s today under a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky.

In fact, it will be a pretty similar forecast tomorrow, just not quite as chilly. Tomorrow will end up being just as as close to “average” as you can get. Morning temperatures around 40 and afternoon highs in the 60s.

A couple showers sneak back in on Thursday, but for the most part the weather looks pretty calm through Friday.

The next front shows up on Sunday, and this may feature a better chance for storms and the potential for some severe weather. But there is still enough uncertainty in teh data, at this point, that I’m not willing to jump on-board with anything specific yet.
