Mississippi has wettest summer on record

I don’t think you need a weatherman to tell you that it has been wet in Mississippi this summer. In fact, the above-normal precip goes almost all the way back to last fall.

But, according to statistics tallied by NOAA this was the wettest Summer, June-August, on record.

On top of that, following up to my post from yesterday, it was also one of the warmest Summer for overnight lows.

So it was a pretty record-setting summer.
