Portions of the Texas coast are under a Tropical Storm Watch. There is also a Coastal Flood Warning for the Mississippi and Louisiana coastlines. The maximum sustained winds are 45 mph, moving west at 7 mph. The minimum central pressure is 1000 mb.
The rip current threat level is high, which is extremely dangerous and life-threatening. The peak storm surge ranges from 1-3 ft on the Gulf Coast.
The Tropical Storm Force winds will be mostly concentrated in southeastern Louisiana. The strongest winds will pass through Louisiana early tomorrow morning.
