Temperatures are on the rise with a heat advisory in effect today. Highs will reach the mid to upper 90s, with humidity pushing feels-like temperatures up to 107 this afternoon. Overall, a hot day in store under partly sunny skies.

Not much going on right now, other than a few showers and storms in southeastern Louisiana. These should continue and a few more storms could pop up this afternoon, mainly south of I-10, but they’ll be few and far between.

After today, the rain is likely done through the weekend while a heat dome begins building in!
