Extended Regional Outlook

The CPC’s outlook has most of our region under above-average temperature and precipitation.

Below, we have 3 of the most accurate models blended into one model. This model gives us an idea of the possible outcome from June 16th to the 23rd. Based of this model, the Southern region will experience a warm, humid environment. The ridging of the Gulf pushes warm, moist air into the south. The troughing in the Midwest will create a cool, dry boundary. With this setup, we could see heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
