Dr. Ken Libbrecht can make his own snowflakes – seriously

Now, I don’t often say, “This is the coolest thing you’ll see all day” but this time I will say it. And I mean. Literally and figuratively.

Veritasium interviewed Dr. Ken Libbrecht, the world expert on snowflakes.

We’ve talked about making snow many times on this blog. But usually, I discuss making snowflakes in the atmosphere and all the conditions that go into getting those made snowflakes down to the surface.

Libbrecht is physically constructing his own snowflakes. At will. In any shape or design he pleases. Pretty incredible.
