Dry this week, but still warm: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 9/19/22

Things are pretty calm round these parts! High pressure is in control and will hold any meaningful weather away from the region. That said, it will let things warm up plenty.

And the ridge of high pressure will hold through the middle of the week. As it gets squashed, and a longwave trough swings by across Canada and the northeast, it will allow Fiona to move northward and away from the Gulf.

Right now, it looks like the next cold front arrives early next week with a quick shot for storms as it passes.
