Morning rain gives way to afternoon storms: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 6/30/22

There is already some very heavy rain down along the coast this morning. Given how much moisture is in the atmosphere, I wouldn’t be surprised if Flash Flood Warnings are issued for many spots along the coast – and perhaps even as far inland as Stone and George counties – this morning.

The showers and storms will continue throughout he day across the area. A lot of the rain will be ‘boosted’ by Invest 95L out in the Gulf toward Texas.

But instead of repeating what the Interns have already explained, let me just pass you guys along to the great work by Jake, Patrick and Gabe!
