Nice weather hangs around through the weekend, more rain next week: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 4/3/24

The weather looks much calmer today after the showers and storms moved through last night. As expected, there were a few spots that stayed nearly dry. And ‘nearly dry’ is going to be the name of the game through the rest of teh week and weekend. It looks like the next shot for rain arrives early next week again.

Yes, this means Eclipse Day might be a bit cloudy with a few showers around.

It looks like next week a weak front will lay up south Texas through Louisiana and up through Mississippi and into Tennessee. That will leave us cloudy and mild with a chance for showers here and there.

Then Tuesday and into Wednesday the front lifts back north and sets teh stage for a system to ride through by the middle to end of next week.

But until then, it looks nice!
