South Mississippi forecast 5/10/21

A wet pattern for the next few days with passing showers and storms through Wednesday. Flooding may be a concern at times, but widespread flooding isn’t looking like as much of a concern.

The SPC has highlighted the area with a Marginal Risk for severe weather both Monday and Tuesday. The main concern is for heavy rain, wind gusts up to 60mph and small hail. While a tornado cannot be ruled out, that isn’t a main concern.

  1. ‘A wet pattern for the next few days’ … Just when are the ‘next few days’ ever going to end?? Also, on Tuesday’s forecast, it says ‘Continued clod cover’ … What is clod, in weather terms?

    1. Ha! “Clod” cover is very similar to “Cloud” cover… The main difference is this dummy meteorologist can’t spell. Good catch! I fixed it.

      1. That’s what everyone really liked about you, Nick, you had a great sense of humor!! REALLY missing that now!
