Three more years… at least!

Hey guys! For those of you who come this blog for weather forecasts, storm info and meteorological tidbits… good news! I just re-up’d on three more years of hosting this website. It cost a Pretty Penny, but I will keep this domain and this site for – at least – another three years.

And since I’ll be around for a while, I’d encourage you to add the site – in particular the Tropics section, since it is Hurricane Season – to your phone’s home screen for easy quick access.

Here is a quick walk-through explaining how to do that on an Android and an iPhone:

And you can add any page to your homepage using that trick.

I know during Hurricane Season some of my posts can get a bit lengthy since there is so much information to distribute. And I know sometimes you are looking for something specific. So, for more tidbits on navigating some of my longer posts to find exactly what you need, I made this quick video a few weeks ago during Tropical Storm Cristobal:

Also of note, I’m working with.a crew of great interns this summer who are updating the coding of the site and working to add more model data and maps to the site, too. So be on the look-out for that!
