11/19/23 1PM: Severe Risk Increased — County-by-County Severe Weather Forecast for Southern Mississippi

The Storm Prediction Center has increased the risk to an Enhanced Risk for Monday night and into Tuesday morning. This is an overnight risk for severe weather.

Here is a breakdown, county-by-county for the timeline and the specific threats for the region. I’ve tried to include every county that is a heavy user of the app / website. If you live in a county that wasn’t covered here, please let me know and I an try to include it in the future.



MISSISSIPPI COUNTY-BY-COUNTY BREAKDOWN

I-20 CORRIDOR

Rankin County
6p – 9p: Showers and storms develop. Some storms may be strong to severe. Main concern at this point will be brief heavy rain, lightning, gusty wind, and small hail.
