Quick update to the rain outlook….Tropical Depression Two is visible on satellite over the NE gulf and will stall today, before moving north-northwest again on Monday. Check back in frequently as we monitor the progression of the system! Flash flooding/ higher shots at heavy rain could be possible through Thursday along the southern portions of Louisiana and Mississippi.

Sunny and dry for most today. Some could see a pop-up storm in the late afternoon/early evening, mainly east of I-55 near Gulfport. Storms will fire off after the hottest part of the day is over, so don’t rely on them to provide much relief from the heat.
