The summer sun will be beating down on us today. Compared to yesterday’s forecast, there’s an even lower chance of showers. Most of our area is still under a major heat risk, so make sure to stay hydrated, have somewhere to cool off, and check up on your neighbors!
Yesterday, there was a line of storms forecasted to move from the north into southern AL and MS. Now, the storms are concentrated in southern AL near the AL/ FL border. The storms are more isolated rather than scattered.
Tomorrow
Our temperatures are going to continue to be in the upper 90s, maybe higher in localized areas. The chances of showers and thunderstorms remain the same, with the highest chances for storms around late afternoon/ early evening. The heat risk remains around major to extreme in our area.
