Calmer and drier today, more rain this weekend, then more storms and colder next week: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 1/25/22

The wind will continue today, though it should be a fair bit more manageable than last night. Skies should eventually clear, too, as we move through the day. It will be cooler (ish) with highs around 60.

We will stay dry for a few days before the next shot for showers and storms rolls in for the weekend. This next round looks like it should be mostly non-severe, as the main bulk of the system slides by in the Gulf, but we will continue to monitor things.

The next one after that as we move into next week (next Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) may be a little more interesting. It may pack a chance for severe weather. Then behind it, as we move into February it may push in some pretty chilly air.
