Mild, humid, and breezy, calmer this weekend: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 2/22/23

Short forecast today because there isn’t much that has changed during the last 24 hours. Still looks mild, still looks breezy, still looking at the outside shot for some storms early next week.

The wind should calm down as we move through the day tomorrow and into the weekend, but we will hold on to a slight breeze as we continue to usher in Gulf of Mexico air throughout the next four to five days.

The next cold front shows u next week in the Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday timeframe, but model guidance is still uncertain about how much ‘umph’ it will have when it arrives. Less ‘umph’ less of a risk for stronger storms.

So, for now, we will continue to monitor things.
