Nice weather this week, brief shot for showers/storms Thursday night

Things continue to look great for the next seven days – aside from a brief shot for rain Thursday night.

The rain Thursday night may feature a few rumbles of thunder and maybe some small hail, but that is about as rough as things look. Rain shouldn’t be too terribly heavy – nor long-lasting. I don’t think there will be much wind. And the tornado threat is close to zero.

I’d offer more to report, but the weather doesn’t really require any extra information! Aside from that, things look good during the next seven days!

I do think as we get through early next week we will have a potent system try to sneak through the region, but I’m still thinking the bulk of any “action” will be to our north.

A bit like yesterday, the CIPS Analogs guidance shows the highest historical risk for severe weather across parts of Alabama for the next system slated to show up on the 27th/28th.

So enjoy the nice weather!
