Showers and storms Tuesday, then drier through Thursday night: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast

Increasing clouds today ahead of he next system set to move into the area on Tuesday. Most of the rain on Tuesday will show up in the morning on Tuesday. But it does look like there will be two rounds of rain on Tuesday – one in the morning and then a second one as we move through the overnight hours Tuesday and into Wednesday.

Right now, it looks like the threat for any severe weather will be alon the immediate coast – if at all. So, despite the atmosphere looking really “spinny” the threat for tornadoes (or any severe weather, frankly) is pretty low.

After the rain kicks out of the area by Wednesday morning, it looks like a second shot for storms by Friday.
