Some spotty showers possible each day through next Monday: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 3/9/23

No big changes to the forecast in the coming days. The showers and storms from last night have moved out and we will again see a shot for a few wayward storms today. The same goes for tomorrow.

The weekend should be mostly dry, aside from another shot for some showers and storms by late Sunday. The area is pegged with a Slight Risk by the SPC, but I think that may shimmy a bit to the north by the time we get there. And so far I think the data supports more of a wind/hail situation that a tornado threat.

As we move through next week, it looks like our next ‘good’ chance for storms arrives next Thursday/Friday.
