You Tired of Summer Yet? Hope it Doesn’t Rain on your Parade ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Howdy! Kendall (the intern) here with the short-term forecast! If for some reason you aren’t interested in hearing about tomorrow’s forecast, scroll a little and you will find this week’s outlook, courtesy of Noah (the other intern).

Tomorrow (June 26th) you can expect the start of the day, 7 AM, to be around 75°, with very minimal winds out of the west. Expect the skies in the morning to be mostly clear. For college students like me, you probably haven’t seen 7 AM in a few months. You can start reading here. By 10 AM the temperature will have warmed up to about 84°, with mostly sunny skies and wind out of the west at about 5 mph. At 1 PM the temperature will reach about 89°, with winds out of the south at 5 mph. By 4 PM the temperature will reach a high of 94°, with a few scattered clouds and wind out of the south-southeast at 5 mph. By the evening, the clouds should clear up and the temperature will drop to around 83°, with gentle winds under 5 mph. The chance for precipitation is about 20%

On Wednesday, the morning low will be about 74°. The temperature will heat up to about 93° by the late afternoon. The skies will be partly cloudy, with a 30% chance of rain in the afternoon. On both Tuesday and Wednesday, the moon will be a beautiful waxing gibbous, turning full by Thursday.

As always, thank you for reading my forecast, and continue reading for the weekly outlook from Noah.

Good afternoon, y’all! It’s Monday, everybody’s favorite day of the week. I’m your meteorologist intern Noah with your forecast for the week! Thanks to Kendall for taking care of your weather for the next couple of days!

Thursday is going to keep us hot and pretty much dry like the beginning of the week has been. There will be a few low level cumulus clouds that may turn into some isolated pop-up showers and thunderstorms, but those will be few. We’ll see a high of 95 and a low of 75.

Friday brings in a slightly higher chance of rain at 30 percent, however it’s still going to be hot at a high of 94 with a few lingering clouds. The night will leave us with a low of 75. What’s going on for the weekend? Tired of weather changing on you like a switch?

Saturday cools down slightly as well, but as we all know, with cooler temperatures in the summer usually means that we’re going to see a higher percentage of rain. I’m calling for a 40% chance through the day with a high of 93 and a low of 74.

Sunday sees the same chance of rain, though not too much of it, with temperatures cooling down again. High of 92 and a low of 73.

Once we make it to next week we’ll see the same chance of rain like the weekend with a high of 91 and a low of 73.

Bottom line: Stay cool throughout most of the week because the heat wave is going to make it feel miserable even with the sparse chance of rain. It’ll just be a hot, sticky and wet atmosphere around you, so it’s not really ideal no matter how you add it up. Later in the week and into the weekend, keep your umbrella handy just in case the rain and thunder reaches you. Hopefully it’ll stay dry enough for July 4th, but we’ll let you know when that time comes. Have a good week!
